Est.1887 The Patrick Blake Group has been involved in the Licence trade for more than 130 years.
Blake’s Fine Wines is primarily focussed on servicing our private clients with wines from prestigious producers as well as limited edition and worldwide exclusive whiskeys from, among others, Midleton, Powers and Redbreast.
Blake’s Fine Wines will be releasing their historic Powers Pot Still White Label Whiskey autumn 2019. Laid down in 1964 in the John’s Lane Distillery , Dublin, these bottles are a piece of Irish whiskey history and are among the last remaining bottles worldwide.
Our flagship outlet Blake’s of ‘The Hollow’ is a finely preserved Victorian bar in a 3 storey property erected in Church Street, Enniskillen.
‘The Hollow’ as it became known, was bought from the Herbert family in 1929 by Catherine Blake, grandmother of the current owner, for her son William whose name is still proudly displayed on the front façade of the building.
Nestling quietly in the hollow of Church Street, Blake’s is a bar to be celebrated and savoured. The Victorian bar to the front of the building remains pretty much untouched since 1887.
The rear of the building was extensively modernised in the mid 1990’s to include two further bars. The Atrium bar is gothic in style and spread over two floors. Level Seven is more contemporary and used for music events, private parties and disco venue. The addition of two stylish restaurants, Café Merlot and Restaurant No6, completed the refurbishment.
